Edmund Gardner Tour

Join a guide for a fascinating tour of the Edmund Gardner Pilot Ship, the largest object owned by National Museums Liverpool. During her working life of almost 30 years, the Edmund Gardner was essentially a base out in the Irish Sea for the Pilotage Service, providing accommodation for up to 32 pilots at a time. The pilots met all shipping approaching the Mersey and guided them into and out of the docks, to ensure their safety.

New Planetarium shows
Every day in the school holidays
10:30am – 4:30pm
World Museum’s Planetarium features three brand new fantastic shows - Earth, Moon and Sun, Fly me to the Moon, From Earth to Universe. Tickets are available from the Info Desk at World Museum, priced £2.50 for adults, £1.50 for children (3 to 18 years) and children under three go free. A family ticket is available for £7 and National Museums Liverpool members go half price. The last show of the day (4:30pm) is free for visitors to watch. www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/planetarium

Egyptian Dancing with Ya Raqs

Come and join the Wirral-based Egyptian dance troupe, Ya Raqs, as they take you on a journey across North Africa and down the Nile, into the heart of Egypt.
