HOW IT ALL BEGAN
It was 15 years ago that Liverpool LINK was formed by Moira Hesketh and Dawn Williams. After successful careers with Trinity Mirror (Liverpool Echo, Merseymart and Star), Moira and Dawn took the brave step to set up their own local monthly advertising publication and the rest, as they say, is history.
Back then, it all started with just a monthly print of 8,000 copies in the West Derby area and has continued to go from strength to strength ever since. In June 2015, Dawn decided to semi-retire and now works part-time for The LINK.
Now, 15 years on, Liverpool LINK has several publications. These include three B5 bi-monthly local community magazines – the South Liverpool LINK - L25, L16 & L15, the South Liverpool LINK - L18, L17 & L19 and West Derby and Croxteth Park LINK - L12 – all with a 10,000 print each.
In July 2019, we brought out our brand new yearly directories, Little LINK, a handy A6 pocket-size directory of tradespeople and services in your area.
“ I am as passionate as ever about bringing you great community publications and value for money advertising. We print what we say we print and we deliver what we say we deliver! We thrive on being local, thinking local, living local. ” - Moira, Editor
